We are happy to return or exchange the item as long as the item complies with the our Return Policy and it is in the original condition and packaging. You must return the item within 7 consecutive days after receiving it and provide a picture of the item.

    NEW SPECIES DISCOVERED
    In early 2022, fossil hunter Boubker Chaibi discovered an unusual fossil while digging in the phosphate basins near Oued Zem. It was a mosasaur premaxillary (nose/snout) bone, but instead of the broad snouted premaxillae seen in Mosasaurus and Prognathodon fossils that are common to the area, this snout was thin and didn’t have teeth at the tip. Boubker had discovered a tylosaur premaxilla, a bone from one of the largest and fiercest mosasaurs. Hainosaurus.

    Hainosaurus boubker was amongst the last of the great Mesozoic marine reptiles. This formidable predator ranged in size from 8 m to 12 m. Hainosaurus boubker had sharp cutting teeth that it used to slice its prey into smaller chunks. It swam in the prehistoric seas of the Southern Mediterranean Tethys in what is present day Morocco. Fossils of Hainosaurus boubker are found in the Upper Couche III layer of the Sidi Chennane Quarry, near the city Oued Zem, Khouribga Province, Morocco.
